À quoi ça sert

Là où Runway excelle

Prompt to clip

Generate a short cinematic shot from a written description alone using text-to-video.

Animate a still

Add a single start image to bring a static frame to life as a moving image-to-video clip.

Vertical and wide

Produce 16:9 widescreen or 9:16 vertical video at 720p or 1080p for different placements.

Points forts

  • Handles both text-to-video and image-to-video from one model, switching modes automatically when you add a start image
  • Outputs full-HD 1080p in addition to 720p for sharper, deliverable clips
  • Built on the Runway Gen-4 family for high-fidelity, temporally coherent motion

Compromis

  • 1080p is limited to 5-second clips; 10-second duration is only available at 720p
  • Only 16:9 and 9:16 aspect ratios are offered, with no square or 4:3 options
  • Maximum clip length is 10 seconds and no audio is generated

À propos de Runway

Runway is a video generation model built on the Runway Gen-4 family, available on HexGen for turning written prompts and still images into short, motion-rich clips. Write a description and it runs text-to-video from the prompt alone. Add a single start image and it switches to image-to-video, animating your frame into a moving shot.

The model outputs at 720p or full-HD 1080p in either 16:9 widescreen or 9:16 vertical, so you can target both landscape players and mobile-first feeds. Clips come back as MP4 files at 5 or 10 seconds, with the Gen-4 architecture delivering high-fidelity, temporally coherent motion that holds together across the frame.

Pricing is flat per video and tiered by resolution and duration rather than billed by the second, so the cost is predictable before you hit generate. Pick your settings, write your shot, and HexGen handles the rest.

Idées de prompts

Points de départ

Copiez, ajustez et lancez. Un bon prompt fait l'essentiel du travail.

A lone lighthouse on a rocky cliff at dusk, waves crashing below, slow cinematic camera push-in, golden hour light.

Close-up of a steaming cup of coffee on a wooden table by a rainy window, gentle steam rising, soft morning light, shallow depth of field.

A red sports car driving along a coastal mountain road, sweeping aerial tracking shot, bright sunny afternoon, ocean in the background.
